Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a unique experience with rooms built over water featuring a very interesting design, spacious interiors, and a wonderful balcony overlooking their local backwaters. The service was exceptional with courteous and helpful staff. The location was good but slightly overrated in peak season, and the dining experience was decent with room for improvement. The facilities provided added to the overall positive stay.
My stay at the resort was quite pleasant overall. The rooms, while clean, gave off a hospital-like vibe that could use some improvement. The service was top-notch, with professional and efficient staff members making the stay enjoyable. The location, albeit not far from Cochin and Kumarakam, was slightly tricky to find due to the lack of clear signage. Dining at the 'vembanadu' restaurant was good and reasonably priced. The facilities provided added value to the stay, though some aspects could be enhanced for a more luxurious experience.
The hotel offers a serene setting with rooms overlooking the peaceful surroundings, though an AC leakage kept me up at night. The rooms were spacious with a generous patio overlooking the local backwaters, but they were very basic and not as advertised in the pictures.
The rooms were quite big with sit-outs facing the waterfront, but unfortunately, they were shabby with torn cushion covers, broken cupboard doors, falling curtains, lint-covered bedsheets, and the dirtiest towels I've ever seen in a hotel. Despite the cleanliness issues, they were nicely decorated on the bed, which already seemed to be a breeding ground for lizards. The service was excellent and helpful, especially the manager Mr Abhijeet who promptly addressed the problems. The location is very good, although a bit overrated in peak season, situated at the edge of the lake/waterway but too far to reach other places easily. The dining experience needs improvement, as it wasn't anything great, even though the hotel served idli, appams, and other delicacies. Overall, the facilities were good, but some areas were lacking. The price may not align with the value for money due to certain shortcomings.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were spacious with a great terrace; however, they could have been better in terms of cleanliness. The service was exceptional, especially the manager Mr Abhijeet who provided instant assistance. The location was perfect, not far from the main road, and near the lagoon. The dining experience was decent with unique and delicious options. The facilities were satisfactory.
I stayed at the hotel that offered a unique design being built over water, which was very neat and clean. The rooms were spacious and had a generous patio overlooking their local backwaters, providing a special ambiance. However, some room amenities were shabby with torn cushion covers and dirty towels, contrasting with the beautifully decorated beds.
The rooms are pretty awesome, giving a good relaxation and rejuvenation feeling with a spectacular view above the water, but they are very basic and do not look like the pictures. The service, via phone, is all good and always helpful, and the staff is very friendly. The location is amazing and very relaxing, but it's not far from the main road; you just need to be a little cautious to see the resort board. The dining, with good cuisine, is good and tasty, but the food quality is below standard and lacks variety. The facilities are modern and convenient. The price offers value for money.
The hotel offers a stunning view above the water and spacious rooms with a generous patio overlooking their local backwaters, yet some cleanliness issues persist. The service is top-notch, with helpful staff available since the inception stage and excellent facilities for activities like cycling and boating. The location, though slightly overrated in peak season, is beautiful and provides a fabulous experience with amenities like a swimming pool and gym. Dining options vary, from unique and delicious dishes to below-par selections, while the facilities overall leave a positive impression.
The hotel offers nice, clean rooms with very comfortable bedding, but some areas are in need of updates. The service is excellent, with courteous and helpful staff pointing out the facilities and various activities available. The location is relaxing and gives a sense of wanting to stay all day, though it may be slightly overrated during peak seasons. The dining experience is enjoyable with delicious cuisine served at reasonable prices. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor downsides.
The resort is situated in Vaikom, north of Kumarakom, offering a beautiful experience with all amenities like swimming pool, cycling, boating, and gym. The rooms were very neat and clean, spacious, and featured a wonderful balcony, yet some felt the room ambiance resembled that of a hospital more. The service by the professional and warm staff members was commendable though some found them less cooperative. The location, although fabulous, required a bit of caution to locate the resort. The dining experience was average with room for improvement. The resort facilities were satisfactory.
